Jackbox Party Pack Showcase - SEE Weekly Gaming Session
Posted by NanoHologuise on Wednesday, 17 October 2018 at 10:22 AM
It's finally coming to the end of our semester. It's been such a joy to see everyone come in each week to enjoy video games with each other. Even with exams looming large on the horizon, we hope that you'll come along one last time this year for a Jackbox Party Pack session. Join in on your mobile devices to compete in a general knowledge quiz show to flex your great gamer intellect. Treat it like extra studying if it will ease your conscience (Smash, Tekken and other games can be extra-curricular activities). It's our last SEE Weekly Session of the year; let's make it one to remember.

Beat Saber Encore - SEE Weekly Gaming Session - 12/10/18
Posted by NanoHologuise on Monday, 8 October 2018 at 9:28 PM
By popular demand and the fact being a Jedi Maestro is the coolest thing ever, we're doing Beat Saber once again this Friday. If you missed it the first time or couldn't make it, this is your chance to strap into some VR gear and slice up some blocks while listening to your favourite tunes. We shall also provide food, drinks and an assortment of other games like Smash, Tekken and other non-VR titles. Grant yourself the title of master and bring balance to the force (of epic beats).

Beat Saber Showcase - SEE Weekly Gaming Session - 5/10/18

We hope you enjoyed the Mid-Semester Break. Was it fun? Did you play games? Did you relax to chill music? Did you sit down and refrain from swinging your arms around? If you said no to any of those questions (and even if you said yes), we invite you to come play Beat Saber this Friday. It's a VR game where you cut some blocks with lightsabers to the beat of a song. Like all VR games, it's crazy when you experience it so come find out for yourself. Food, drinks, Smash, Tekken and other games will be running alongside Beat Saber. Come along, become a musical Jedi and enjoy the afternoon.

We've got free food and drinks, and prizes for the winner. It's $5 for non-members and free for members (but conveniently, membership is $5 wink wink). The tournament starts at 12, so rock up early and get some friendly practice in.

SEE Mid-Semester Sm4sh & Melee Tournament - 24/9/2018
Posted by NanoHologuise on Sunday, 23 September 2018 at 6:51 PM
It's finally time for a possibly well-deserved break from the studious life of a Uni Student. And what better way to relax and unwind than with some intense bouts of Super Smash Bros? We'll be running double elimination tournaments for both Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. We’ll also have all of the usual snacks and beverages.
The prizes for each game are as follows:
1st: EB Games Gift Card
2nd: Smash Bros. Amiibo
Participation is free for SEE members, and $5 for non-members (coincidentally, a club membership is also $5!). We also have a limited number of Gamecube and Wii U Pro Controllers, so we strongly recommend that you bring your own. Additionally, if you are able to bring additional setups and screens, it would be much appreciated.
